About Me
Hometown: Kansas City, KS
Current Position: Punter / Kicker for the Piper High School Pirates
Degree Interest: Athletic Training / Kinesiology
Hi! My name is Kaleb Kirgan and I was born in Wichita, KS, but spent most of my childhood in New Braunfels, TX. I began playing soccer when I was 5 and moved to club when I was 8 and played with Ajax for 6 years. My interest quickly turned to football in middle school. My freshman year in high school, I spiral fractured my ankle during a game and had surgery to place 3 screws to repair it. Once fully healed, I decided to walk away from soccer and focus on my kicking game in football. We moved back home to Kansas where I found out about Kohl’s Kicking Camps. I began training with them during my sophomore year and have been training with them ever since. As a junior, I was the starting punter and kickoff guy for my high school football team, Piper High School. I am also a member of our school’s Power Lifting team where our men took 2nd place in 2023, and 1st place in 2022 at state. Voted on by our seniors and coaches, I earned 2 distinguished awards: The Inspirational Award and The Leadership Award. This year is my senior year, and I will be the starting kicker and punter for our football team. I am looking forward to an amazing senior season and hope to attend college to continue my kicking career while pursuing a degree in athletic training/kinesiology.
